Job Description

Job Summary:

The Office of Court Administration is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
  • Configure and manage virtual machines, storage, and networking resources.
  • Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and technical guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying knowledge to improve our infrastructure and services.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Expert-level knowledge of virtualization, storage, and networking technologies.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • Experience with cloud-based security solutions, including identity and access management.
  • Certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect.
