Job Title: Lead Direct Support Professional

Mount Olivet Rolling Acres is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Lead DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential homes.

Job Summary:

The Lead Direct Support Professional Weekend Float will work in a designated number of homes, assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and program implementation. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily cares, medical needs, and supports, including ADLs and mental health supports.
  • Develop and implement daily routines, providing opportunities for choice and presenting creative options as needed.
  • Plan and implement recreation, leisure, and community activities that promote socialization and community integration.
  • Drive clients to appointments and community activities, ensuring safe transportation and timely arrival.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including medication administration, treatment plans, and emergency procedures.
  • Collaborate with the support team to develop and implement individualized plans, ensuring person-centered services and support.
  • Perform household maintenance and housekeeping tasks, ensuring a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Work harmoniously with colleagues, clients, and families, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Ability to pass a Department of Human Services background check and maintain qualified status.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance, with a clean driving record.
