Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Mount Olivet Rolling Acres is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as mental health needs, in their daily lives.

Job Summary:

The Direct Support Professional will assist clients with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, medical needs, and social activities. This role requires a strong commitment to providing person-centered services, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients, and promoting their independence and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily cares, medical needs, and supports
  • Develop and implement daily routines that promote choice and independence
  • Plan and implement recreation, leisure, and community activities
  • Drive clients to appointments and community activities
  • Assist clients in establishing and maintaining community relationships
  • Provide person-centered services and maintain confidentiality
  • Document program data and daily log information
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience working with clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Interest in supporting clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and/or mental health needs
  • Must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain qualified status
  • Must have a valid current driver's license and vehicle insurance
