We are currently in search of a qualified individual for the position of:

CENTRAL SUPPLY/TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR

Position Overview:

  • Responsible for procuring necessary supplies from various vendors while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Ensures proper labeling of supplies with charge bar code stickers.
  • Inputs supply charges into the financial software system for accurate accounting and billing.
  • Maintains organization of nursing supplies in designated storage areas, including the Lab Room and Nurses' Station(s).
  • Manages inventory of enteral feedings, syringes, delivery bags, and tubing as required.
  • Orders and monitors oxygen supplies, including tanks and concentrators, in collaboration with Central Supply.
  • Oversees the cleanliness and functionality of oxygen concentrators, IV pumps, suction machines, nebulizers, and other medical equipment.
  • Facilitates patient transportation to and from scheduled medical appointments.
  • Completes errands for the facility, such as trips to the pharmacy, as directed by the Director of Nursing or their designee.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing or their designee.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with a current Nurse Aide Listing.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Basic clerical and computer skills are essential.
  • Willingness to engage in routine, repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Demonstrates kindness and respect towards patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Required to wear the designated uniform and nametag for the position.
  • Must be familiar with and adhere to personnel, departmental, and facility policies.
  • Participation in in-service training and staff meetings is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary for patient transportation duties.
