Role Overview:

The Patient Care Secretary plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our healthcare facility. This position involves managing medical documentation and supporting the clinical team in delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage requests for medical records and related documentation.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment by maintaining an organized inventory.
  • Coordinate the requisition of supplies, repairs, or replacements as needed.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, functioning under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent; training in a medical office setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
  • Proficient computer skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.
