CENTRAL SUPPLY/TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR
Position Type: Full Time
Role Overview:
- Responsible for procuring necessary supplies from various vendors while adhering to budget constraints.
- Ensures all applicable supplies are labeled with charge bar code stickers.
- Inputs charges into the financial software system for accurate accounting and billing.
- Organizes nursing supplies in designated areas including Storage Rooms, Lab Room, and Nurses' Station(s).
- Stocks enteral feeding supplies and associated delivery equipment as required.
- Orders and monitors oxygen supplies, ensuring proper management of oxygen tanks and concentrators.
- Maintains cleanliness and functionality of medical equipment such as IV pumps, suction machines, and nebulizers.
- Facilitates patient transportation to and from appointments.
- Performs errands for the facility as directed by supervisory staff.
- Completes additional tasks as assigned by supervisory personnel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with a current Nurse Aide Listing.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Basic clerical and computer skills are essential.
- Ability to perform routine tasks consistently.
- Strong teamwork and cooperation skills.
- Demonstrates kindness and respect towards patients, staff, and visitors.
- Adheres to the designated uniform and nametag requirements.
- Familiarity with and adherence to facility policies and procedures.
- Participation in required training and staff meetings.
- Possession of a valid NC Driver's license with a clean driving record for patient transport duties.
