Position: CENTRAL SUPPLY/TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Overview:

  • Responsible for procuring necessary supplies from various vendors while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Ensures proper labeling of supplies with charge bar code stickers.
  • Inputs financial data into the accounting software for billing and tracking purposes.
  • Organizes nursing supplies in designated areas including Storage Rooms, Lab Room, and Nurses' Stations.
  • Maintains inventory of enteral feedings and related supplies, ensuring timely restocking.
  • Coordinates the ordering of Oxygen and oversees the monitoring of oxygen tanks and concentrators.
  • Maintains cleanliness and functionality of nursing equipment including O2 concentrators, IV pumps, and suction machines.
  • Facilitates patient transportation to scheduled medical appointments.
  • Completes errands for the facility as directed by supervisory staff.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing or their designee.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with a current Nurse Aide Listing.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Basic clerical and computer skills are essential.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks consistently.
  • Must work collaboratively with team members.
  • Exhibits kindness and respect towards patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Required to wear a designated uniform and nametag.
  • Familiarity with personnel and facility policies is necessary.
  • Participation in in-service training and staff meetings is expected.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for patient transportation duties.
