Role Overview:

The Patient Care Secretary plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of medical record management and patient support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage requests for medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Oversee the inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Coordinate requisitions for necessary supplies, repairs, or replacements as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for patients and visitors, providing assistance under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent; training in a medical office setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
  • Proficient computer skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.
