Metal Processing Technician

- Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with potential overtime as required.
- Classify and manage scrap metal based on quality and dimensions.
- Package metal materials in accordance with specified guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment for safety.
- Operate various tools and machinery, including forklifts, lifts, grinders, and stationary shears.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
- Adhere to the designated work schedule and perform duties in diverse weather conditions.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for safety compliance.
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with machinery such as bobcats, forklifts, and loaders is advantageous.
- Physical capability to lift heavy items and remain standing for prolonged periods.
- Familiarity with various metal types is a plus.
- Quick adaptability and strong communication abilities.
- Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation is necessary.
- Completion of pre-employment screenings is mandatory.
