Adecco is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team as an Injection Molding Process Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Qualify Mold Assets: Create and implement efficient mold development processes, adhering to organizational standards and procedures.
  • Conduct Initial Functional Testing: Perform thorough testing of injection molds to ensure quality and performance.
  • Develop Injection Molding Processes: Utilize scientific techniques to design and optimize injection molding processes.
  • Prepare and Execute Experimental Designs: Develop and execute experiments to analyze and improve process capability.
  • Document Processing Phase: Accurately document the entire processing phase, including data collection and analysis.
  • Troubleshoot Molding Processes and Equipment: Identify and resolve issues with molding processes and equipment.
  • Evaluate Tooling for Quality and Efficiency: Assess tooling for quality and efficiency improvements.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Gather and analyze data to improve process capability.
  • Support Process Technicians: Provide training and guidance to process technicians in scientific molding practices.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction: Participate in leadership roles to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
  • Analyze Process Data: Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques to analyze process data.
  • Program Robots and Peripheral Equipment: Develop and implement programming for robots and peripheral equipment.
  • Install and Remove Molds: Safely install and remove molds, including water connections.
Requirements
  • Education: High School / College Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Working knowledge and experience with injection molding equipment and materials, deep understanding of thermoplastic materials and their properties, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, experience with scientific molding approach, Master Molder I / II qualification, previous experience working in a hands-on environment with mold technicians and quality engineers, proficiency in MS Office and statistical software MiniTab.
