Metal Fabricator - Oxy-Fuel Cutting

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting oversized ferrous materials using an oxy-propane torch to precise specifications as determined by the customer.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize an oxy-propane torch to cut ferrous materials to required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of all torch equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, prioritizing fire safety and eliminating trip/fall hazards.
  • Work effectively in a hot environment for extended periods while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including a hard hat, face shield, and leather gloves.
  • Ensure all materials are safely staged and prepared for processing.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and regulations regarding the proper use of PPE.
  • Demonstrate conscientious and safety-oriented work habits.
