Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Development: Identify, cultivate, and implement strategic initiatives for large, intricate organizations. Generate new business opportunities within high-profile accounts and enhance existing relationships. Engage in industry events, including trade shows and seminars.
  • Customer Insight: Exhibit advanced knowledge of the industry and its implications for GIS applications. Identify critical stakeholders and business drivers, gaining access to executive decision-makers. Navigate complex budgeting and procurement processes.
  • Continuous Learning: Clearly communicate the value of Esri technology in the context of Imagery and Remote Sensing. Engage in ongoing research and professional development to maintain competitive industry knowledge. Utilize innovative presentation skills to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Results Orientation: Actively manage the sales process for all opportunities to achieve revenue targets. Regularly assess contributions to customer satisfaction and needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Lead account strategies through consistent collaboration with internal teams and business partners. Share knowledge and mentor colleagues, demonstrating resourcefulness and initiative in problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales or relevant consulting roles
  • 5+ years of experience in federal government support
  • Proven track record in managing sales cycles and building trusted partnerships with large clients
  • Strong financial acumen to develop effective account growth strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of the Imagery and Remote Sensing sector and emerging technology trends
  • Understanding of GIS and Esri technology and their interrelations
  • Exceptional visual storytelling and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with industry fiscal cycles and procurement processes
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in remote sensing, image science, engineering, GIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • General understanding of data science or spatial analysis for problem-solving and trend identification
