Role Purpose

The Accounts Receivable Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and mitigating financial risks associated with customer accounts. This position focuses on maintaining key performance indicators such as turnover days, portfolio health, and overdue balances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process daily deposits and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.
  • Apply payments accurately to customer accounts.
  • Monitor customer accounts for late payments and irregularities.
  • Engage with clients through various communication channels regarding their account statuses.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to address customer account issues.
  • Assist clients with inquiries related to account statements and credits.
  • Conduct collection analysis to improve recovery rates.
  • Access banking systems for collection and investigation tasks.
  • File claims for discrepancies and seek necessary support.
  • Utilize customer portals to track payment statuses and obtain assistance.
  • Coordinate with logistics to resolve customer account challenges.
Decision-Making Authority

This role does not involve managing staff or executing budgetary decisions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Basic understanding of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Google Drive.
  • Experience with accounting ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.
  • Technologically adept.
  • Ability to thrive in both team settings and as an independent contributor.
  • Capability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Educational Background
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration (preferred).
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirements
  • Prior experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is a plus.
Reporting Structure

This position reports to the National Accounts Receivable Coordinator.

Adaptation Period

Expected adaptation period is 3 months.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods.
