Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute an environmental monitoring strategy for our production facilities and laboratories.
  • Implement standard operating procedures for microbiological sampling and analysis.
  • Create comprehensive sampling plans for air, water, and surfaces.
  • Supervise routine monitoring tasks and conduct data evaluations.
  • Oversee the inventory management of materials necessary for the program.
  • Direct gowning procedures and ensure contamination control measures are in place.
  • Compile reports detailing monitoring outcomes and compliance levels.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing monitoring methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing Environmental Monitoring programs and systems.
  • Background in Laboratory Analyst or Technician positions.
  • Familiarity with microbiological testing and monitoring practices.
  • Experience in a Lean Lab setting is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent to constant standing or sitting, occasional walking, and dexterity tasks. Minimal climbing or balancing required. Communication and visual acuity are essential. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs occasionally and up to 50 lbs rarely. Potential exposure to loud machinery.
