Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute an environmental monitoring strategy for our production facilities and laboratories
- Implement standard operating procedures for microbiological sampling and testing
- Create comprehensive sampling plans for air, water, and surfaces
- Supervise regular monitoring activities and analyze data
- Oversee the inventory management of materials for the program
- Lead gowning procedures and ensure contamination control
- Compile reports on monitoring outcomes and compliance status
- Identify and recommend enhancements to monitoring practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related discipline
- Experience in establishing Environmental Monitoring programs and systems
- Background in Lab Analyst or Technician roles
- Familiarity with microbiological testing and monitoring techniques
- Preferred experience in a Lean Lab setting
- Proficient in MS Office and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or sit frequently, walk occasionally, and perform tasks requiring dexterity. Climbing or balancing is seldom required, while stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be occasionally necessary. Frequent communication and visual acuity are essential. The role may involve lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weights up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Candidates should be prepared for occasional exposure to loud machinery.
