Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Dispatcher to support our office operations. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively with drivers and customers, and manage daily tasks to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch drivers to calls, balancing cost and customer satisfaction while ensuring timely service delivery.
  • Work with sites and the service department to optimize routes based on customer needs and daily factors.
  • Assign routes and service tickets to drivers, managing and determining route actions to ensure completion.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails from customer service and sales departments, managing requests for container movement within the market area.
  • Initiate communication with customers while drivers are on-site, resolving pick-up and delivery issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues.
  • Ensure same-day service on missed pick-ups by managing routing and tracking driver movement.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or Dispatcher in a similar position.
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects.
  • BILINGUAL (ENGLISH/SPANISH) is a must.
