Job Description

Soleo Health is seeking a highly skilled Regional Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in the Hayward, CA area. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the administration of nursing services, directing and coordinating the activities of professional nursing and auxiliary personnel to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients, including patient assessment, clinical and environmental, patient and caregiver teaching, and development and revision of the plan of care.
  • Select, train, develop, and motivate a highly skilled professional nursing and allied staff.
  • Oversee the receipt, evaluation, acceptance, and execution of the initial patient intake process to ensure timely and appropriate scheduling of nursing services.
  • Assure that all patient-related documentation and clinical and departmental reports are accurately completed, submitted, and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process.
  • Participate in planning, decision-making, and implementation of all service center activities that affect clinical nursing services and the performance of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Assist in the management of a department budget using a modified primary nursing model and ensure that other department functions proceed without interruption.
  • Secure and maintain all applicable internal, professional, local, state, federal, and voluntary licensures, certifications, accreditations, and employment requirements as required of staff and department.
  • Work closely with the Regional Business Leader, VP of Nursing, and Area Vice President to assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs, and systems.
  • Assure own professional growth and clinical competence.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
  • Report to the appropriate management any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations, or standards of conduct.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Current RN licensure by the applicable state(s) Board of Nursing, in good standing.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and/or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy, or critical care.
  • Minimum 5 years of pediatric nursing experience ideal.
  • Clinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring, skill, and knowledge of all types of IV lines.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience, proven ability to manage, train, and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projects.
  • Knowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapies.
  • Knowledge of state-licensed, non-certified, home health agency regulations as applicable.
  • Ability to directly supervise and manage staff for a licensed home health agency as applicable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Advanced certification a plus (i.e., CRNI, IgCN).
