Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team at Ovation Sienna Hills. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by creating engaging and meaningful experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with volunteers to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our residents.
  • Design and distribute a monthly activities calendar and newsletter to keep residents and family members informed.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and presenters to provide enriching experiences for our residents.
  • Participate in community event planning to foster a sense of community and connection among our residents.
  • Arrange transportation for events, activities, and outings, ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents.
  • Conduct regular visits to residents, providing one-on-one attention and support to those who may need it.
  • Monitor staff to ensure they are following established safety protocols and regulations.
  • Report any incidents or concerns to the Executive Director, maintaining the confidentiality of resident care information.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school diploma, with higher education experience preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in a social or recreation program, or a similar amount of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Service-related experience is highly valued.
