Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging activities and programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director to plan and execute community-wide events, such as themed parties, holiday celebrations, and educational programs.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive calendar of activities, ensuring a rich and varied experience for our residents.
  • Participate in painting, pottery, lunch outings, shopping trips, sporting events, card games, exercise, puzzles, games, movies, and other activities that promote socialization and enjoyment.
  • Maintain a professional and caring attitude towards residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
Requirements
  • Caring and compassionate attitude, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors.
  • Experience working with seniors in assisted living or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to use computers, TVs, apps, and other electronic devices to support activity planning and execution.
  • A musical background, art background, or experience in event planning for seniors is a significant asset.
