About the Role

Aegis Living is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Life Enrichment Director to join our team at Callahan House. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and engaging environment that promotes the well-being and happiness of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a comprehensive activities program that caters to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Orient new residents to our community and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Supervise and support the Life Enrichment Assistant and/or Driver in their roles.
  • Coordinate volunteer services and activities within the community.
  • Plan and execute resident family events and celebrations.
Requirements
  • Two years' experience working with the elderly in assisted living, adult day care, or a related field.
  • One year experience in activity program planning and development.
  • Knowledge of computers and software applications necessary for creating professional publications.
  • Degree in music, art, or recreational therapy preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license and any specialized licenses required to operate multi-passenger vehicles.
  • Certification in an accredited activity training course preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
