Customer Engineer Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Journey Management: Oversee customer success from pre-contract signing to conversion, including onboarding and training sessions.
  • Proactive Customer Guidance: Provide tailored product recommendations and feature access to ensure customers derive maximum value.
  • Technical Support: Address technical queries and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Data-Driven Product Insights: Harness customer data and feedback to drive improvements in the product experience.
  • Engineering Liaison: Translate customer feedback into actionable product enhancements and collaborate with internal teams.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience with a technical background and demonstrated passion for customer success.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and software development practices.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A hunger for learning and a drive to continuously improve.

Work Environment: Factory is a startup with a team that goes into the office 5 days a week in San Francisco, near Caltrain.
