Sales and Account Manager
As a Sales and Account Manager at Metronet, you will be responsible for all sales functions, including forecasting, soliciting, and securing orders from potential and existing business customers. You will provide customer service and prepare periodic reports as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Securing orders from existing and potential customers by visiting their facilities or contacting them by phone
- Securing opportunities to quote on customer requirements
- Following up on quotations submitted to customers
- Establishing professional customer relationships with key personnel
- Submitting weekly activity reports concerning customer-related activities
- Performing all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory
- Providing lost business reports on a weekly basis
- Providing a territory sales forecast on a monthly basis
- Spending at least 85% of time working with customers or potential customers
- Performing assigned duties with minimum personal supervision
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of B2B sales experience
- Track record of success in sales
- Desire for an uncapped earning potential in a 75% commission structure
- Must complete and pass all courses offered by Metronet or pass proficiency tests
- Knowledge of principles and methods involved in showing, prompting, and selling products or services
- Technical or telecommunications background a plus
