ResponsibilitiesIn this critical role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert nursing care and assessments for patients undergoing diagnostic testing
- Explain testing procedures to patients and their families
- Performing and maintaining proficiency in various clinical procedures, including venipuncture, specimen collection, EKGs, PFTs, audiometric testing, vision testing, and tonometry
- Administering routine and travel vaccines as directed by the physician
- Assisting with prepping cardiac stress testing areas as directed by the physician
- Stocking and cleaning exam rooms
- Managing inventory and maintenance of medical supplies
- Coordinating patient examinations, including escorting patients to testing and examination areas
To excel in this position, you will require:
- A current State nursing license and CPR/BLS certification
- At least 3 years of related experience and/or training
- Strong phlebotomy skills and knowledge of vaccines
