Job Summary

The Child Mind Institute is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cognitive Assessment Specialist for our Learning and Development Center (LDC). The LDC Cognitive Assessment Specialist is responsible for administering and scoring neuropsychological assessments. The successful candidate will have experience with standardized cognitive, achievement, and/or language test administration.

This non-exempt, part-time position is located at our NYC headquarters and reports directly to the Senior Director, Learning and Development Center.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including medical insurance, 401(k), paid parental leave, dependent care, flexible work schedules, and entertainment perks. The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and score neuropsychological assessments
  • Enter data into our database system
  • Review and proofread neuropsychological reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field
  • Graduate-level coursework in standardized cognitive, achievement, and/or language test administration and scoring
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to learn software programs
  • Detailed oriented, methodical, focused, and diligent
  • Professional demeanor and attitude
