Job Title: Assistant Store Manager at Lidl

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be an integral part of our retail team, working closely with the Store Manager to foster a high-performing store environment. Your role will involve guiding the store team to ensure that our customers enjoy the outstanding shopping experience that Lidl is known for across multiple countries. Successful candidates will take charge of store performance, showcasing effective leadership and adeptly managing both operational and personnel challenges. You will be skilled in multitasking, overseeing projects, and identifying training opportunities for team members, all while committed to providing a quality shopping experience at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in daily team leadership and motivation
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries
  • Track and improve store Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Oversee team initiatives including promotional displays and product reorganization
  • Provide hands-on assistance with operational duties such as cash handling, inventory management, and store cleanliness
  • Foster a safe, positive, and efficient workplace in accordance with company standards

Qualifications:

  • Strong commitment to meeting deadlines, achieving store objectives, and boosting productivity
  • Proven experience in team leadership within a dynamic retail environment
  • Excellent customer service abilities and capacity to manage difficult situations with composure
  • Willingness to participate in daily operational tasks, including stocking and maintenance
  • Minimum age requirement of 21 years
  • Capability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
