Position Summary

The Store Manager oversees the daily operations of the retail location, ensuring effective management of staff and resources, exceptional customer service, and optimal merchandising practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all store operations, including staff supervision, policy enforcement, customer relations, and sales management.
  • Ensure the retail environment is clean, organized, and well-stocked, enhancing sales through effective merchandising strategies.
  • Oversee production processes, scheduling staff, and monitoring performance to meet production goals.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service in all areas of the store.
  • Manage inventory flow, ensuring timely restocking and adherence to rotation schedules.
  • Implement fair personnel practices in recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and timely filling of vacancies.
  • Handle administrative tasks including reporting, inventory management, and scheduling.
  • Supervise cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Conduct orientation and training for new employees, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred vocational or business training
  • Minimum of two years of management experience in a retail environment
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, perform medium lifting (up to 50 pounds), and engage in various physical activities throughout the workday.
