About the Role:
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily safety and asset protection functions within the corporate environment, under the general guidance of Asset Protection management. The supervisor will lead a team of hourly Asset Protection associates, act as a liaison for management by participating in meetings, assist in training initiatives, and provide a visible Asset Protection presence during company events. This role involves responding to and managing incidents or injuries, collaborating with external agencies such as law enforcement and fire departments, and leading vendor relationships pertinent to the Asset Protection department. Additionally, the supervisor will support other areas of the Center for Excellence teams as required.

The Impact You Can Have:
  • Supervise a team of Asset Protection Specialists to ensure a safe and secure environment at the corporate office. Set objectives, provide constructive feedback, conduct associate training, and administer coaching and counseling.
  • Maintain a schedule to guarantee Asset Protection coverage during and after business hours. Assist with operations at various Ascena Retail Group locations as needed.
  • Oversee and monitor the physical security of the corporate office, ensuring that all facility equipment, including fire, burglar, digital CCTV systems, visitor management, and access control systems, are functioning properly. Act as a first responder to incidents involving unauthorized access, fire, or emergencies around the clock.
  • Assist with conducting thorough and timely investigations related to theft and loss within the corporate office, managing projects associated with the corporate environment.
  • Ensure compliance with physical security and access control standards, including PCI, SOX, and local fire code regulations.
  • Coordinate relationships across the enterprise with cross-functional partners and established suppliers or services utilized by Ascena Asset Protection. Provide various administrative functions for the Asset Protection department as needed.
You'll Bring to the Role:
  • 3+ years of experience in Asset Protection.
  • A four-year degree is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in supervising others.
  • Flexibility to work various hours based on business needs, including on-call availability.
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED certification preferred (certification will be required during employment).
  • CFI, CPP, LPQ, or LPC certification preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in project management and technical expertise with CCTV and access control technology and software.
  • Certification in Interview and Interrogation Techniques preferred.
  • A strong ability to build business relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Minimal travel is required.
