Retail Operations Leader

The Retail Operations Leader is pivotal in ensuring the success of the retail establishment. This role encompasses the creation of a welcoming atmosphere for customers, the development of cohesive teams, and the execution of visual merchandising strategies to enhance sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement - 30%:
Foster a customer-centric environment by imparting product knowledge and fashion insights to patrons. Lead by example to ensure exceptional service is consistently delivered.
Store Management - 20%:
Reduce inventory shrinkage by training staff to provide outstanding service, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to operational policies. Oversee the annual inventory process and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Talent Development - 20%:
Make informed hiring choices and cultivate talent through robust training programs. Provide constructive feedback to team members and create an environment that encourages professional growth and job satisfaction.
Sales Optimization - 20%:
Accountable for the overall performance of the retail team. Manage staffing levels to align with business needs and enhance profitability. Analyze sales data to inform promotional strategies and scheduling.
Communication - 10%:
Address staffing and performance concerns with upper management. Relay product-related issues to the appropriate departments and ensure balanced attention across various store locations.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree combined with a minimum of four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling at least eight years.
Skills and Competencies:
Proven experience in talent acquisition and team leadership. Strong decision-making abilities and professionalism. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving objectives.
Physical Requirements:
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends. Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting merchandise and operating store equipment.
