Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team at Compass Group, North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations for corporate dining accounts in Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop staff to ensure superior food and beverage quality and strong customer service skills.
  • Assist with catering events and establish a positive working relationship with staff, venue clients, and production team.
  • Oversee financial aspects of first-class corporate dining operations and manage budget and inventory.
  • Train and supervise alcoholic beverage service and establish a beverage program and seasonal specials.
Requirements
  • Experience managing others and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, self-motivation, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work the business hours as the workday usually extends from late afternoon into nights and weekends.
  • Finance, Loss Prevention, and HR experiences.
  • Prefer a college degree and management experience, particularly in the beverage industry.
  • Certification in in-service training, alcohol service, safe food handling, and first aid.
  • Experience with knowledge of all state and local alcohol laws.
  • Certified by the National Bar & Restaurant Management Association.
