Senior Business Systems Analyst - Internal HR Systems

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to enhance our internal team and contribute to the optimization of our human resources management system (HRMS) along with other associated applications. Your role will involve analyzing, designing, testing, and implementing solutions aimed at improving our HR processes and ensuring data integrity. You will also support functional configuration, implementation, and production activities within an Oracle Fusion HCM environment. A minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting and delivering new features/functionality in an Oracle Fusion HCM setting is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR, Technology, Finance, and Legal departments, to identify and meet their needs and expectations.
  • Engage with HRMS/HRIS to facilitate issue resolution, troubleshoot functional application challenges, and develop innovative solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Partner with business associates to create and execute acceptance test plans; oversee the acceptance testing process, validate outcomes, and resolve any issues.
  • Assist the product owner in defining and prioritizing the product backlog while communicating the business value of each feature.
  • Conduct data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of HR data affected by changes and enhancements.
  • Design and generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support HR decision-making and reporting.
  • Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases for the Development team.
  • Collaborate with Developers and Vendors to implement and test system enhancements and integrations.
  • Provide training and support for HRIS/HRMS and other HR departments.
  • Monitor and assess the performance, usability, and feedback of the products.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in HR systems and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, information systems, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a systems analyst or in a comparable role supporting and implementing HR-related systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting and delivering new features/functionality in an Oracle Fusion HCM environment.
  • Familiarity with Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) and other third-party reporting tools is advantageous.
  • Experience with additional HRMS or ERP systems such as BrassRing, Visier, ADP EV5, SAP Compensation, and Eightfold is preferred.
  • Understanding of HR processes, policies, and regulations.
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, XML, and other data analysis tools.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
