Role of the Senior Epic Analyst - Clinical Documentation
The Senior Epic Analyst is tasked with delivering tactical and operational support for the deployment of enterprise Epic systems. Reporting to the IT-Epic Manager, this role encompasses system configuration, implementation, and operational tasks for designated Epic Modules. The analyst will collaborate with a consortium of professionals from affiliated institutions, including clinicians, project managers, analysts, and developers, each possessing specialized knowledge in their respective modules. This position requires close interaction with clinical and business stakeholders, assisting a multidisciplinary team in the design, implementation, optimization, change management, and troubleshooting associated with the enterprise system. A comprehensive understanding of systems like the Epic platform, alongside clinical workflows and business processes, is essential. As an integral part of the enterprise Epic initiative, the analyst will work alongside relevant technical and operational leaders from partner institutions.
Work Environment:
This is a Hybrid Position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation
- Certification in Epic Stork
- Master's Degree or major in Computer Science
- PMP Certification
- NYS Clinical licensure (Nursing or relevant allied health professional)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Epic Module Certification within 12 months of hire
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with clinical systems
Salary Range:
$87,500-$143,500/Annual
