Key Responsibilities:

Visitor Engagement

  • Welcome guests at the front desk, creating a friendly and inviting environment.
  • Maintain an orderly and responsive school atmosphere by addressing public inquiries, managing phone and email communications, and assisting families and students.
  • Ensure proper identification for all visitors and monitor campus access.
  • Draft communications for families and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Participate in departmental and faculty meetings as needed.
  • Enhance school systems and culture through active involvement.

Meal Program Management

  • Oversee daily breakfast and lunch services, ensuring compliance with national programs and managing logistics.
  • Coordinate student snack provisions for after-school activities.

Main Office Operations

  • Maintain a professional and organized front desk area.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
  • Oversee the collection and organization of student and staff information, ensuring records are current.
  • Control inventory and manage school supplies effectively.
  • Ensure all office equipment is operational and well-maintained.
  • Coordinate with service providers and vendors for school communications.
  • Facilitate the distribution of technology resources to students and staff.
  • Assist with financial documentation and processes.
  • Support student enrollment and recruitment efforts.
  • Perform filing and data entry tasks as needed.
  • Assist school leaders with various administrative duties.

Support for School Systems and Events

  • Manage daily school operations, including attendance tracking and reporting.
  • Assist in planning and executing school events and activities.
  • Participate in necessary duties to ensure the safe functioning of the school.
  • Support facilities maintenance by collecting feedback and reporting issues.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a school or office setting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to obtain necessary certifications within a specified timeframe.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
