Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Bryten Real Estate Partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our maintenance team, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, including scheduling, coordinating work orders, and providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Organize and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairing.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and develop plans to address them.
  • Manage and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; specialized vocational training or certification in a relevant field (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in building and facility maintenance, with a minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex maintenance issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems, including maintenance management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
