Position Summary

AZZ is offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the maintenance team. Your expertise will be essential in overseeing and executing maintenance tasks related to plumbing, electrical systems, welding, construction, and machinery servicing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide maintenance personnel and assist in diagnosing complex machinery or equipment issues.
  • Evaluate completed tasks to ensure repairs meet specifications and adhere to safety standards.
  • Monitor the condition of maintenance tools, materials, and equipment utilized by the maintenance team.
  • Provide training for new hires on the organization's operational procedures and standards.
  • Advise team members on work-related matters and help address skill deficiencies.
  • Assess employee performance and oversee work levels.
Qualifications
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems is necessary.
  • Familiarity with hot dip galvanizing, steel fabrication, or custom metal coating processes is preferred.
  • Experience with HV 480 electricity, cranes, hoists, and forklifts is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
Education Requirements
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
