The Lead Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the physical property, coordinating maintenance repairs, apartment make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • **Maintenance Operations**: Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  • **Team Leadership**: Oversee maintenance staff, prepare weekly maintenance schedules, and allocate work to team members to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • **Facilities Inspection**: Inspect facilities periodically to identify problems and necessary maintenance to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • **Budget Management**: Contribute to the development of the overall maintenance budget and ensure compliance at the property.
  • **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory of materials and equipment and replenish as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient maintenance operation.

Requirements for the Lead Maintenance Supervisor role include:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or related role in a similar setting.
  • HVAC and EPA certification.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience working with diverse populations.
  • A valid driver's license and flexibility to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule.

Physical Requirements for the role include:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach above shoulders.
  • Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
