Overview

The Corporate Operations Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing network efficiency and implementing cost reduction strategies. This role will lead projects focused on corporate growth, particularly in identifying potential acquisitions that can yield synergies for the organization. All initiatives will prioritize profitability enhancement and operational support. Additionally, this position will coordinate various projects related to logistics and supply chain management, requiring a comprehensive understanding of these operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute project plans to enhance our logistics framework, minimize expenses, and boost operational efficiency.
  • Identify optimization opportunities within logistics and supply chain processes, and devise effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Assist in negotiating terms of agreements and preparing presentations for executive review.
  • Aid in drafting essential documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Letters of Intent (LOIs), and service agreements.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective companies.
  • Develop and document the team's operational processes and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform research and analysis to uncover trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Monitor and report project progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement risk management strategies and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners as necessary.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
  • Regularly update senior management on project developments, risks, and challenges.
  • Oversee corporate development activities and explore potential deal opportunities.

Support and Development

  • Assist with additional projects as required.
  • Manage team performance, provide training, and enhance skills for future growth.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned.

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $101,000 - $113,000 annually, subject to a compensation study upon candidate selection.

Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), SAP, and Database Management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
  • Strong negotiation, procurement, and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Knowledge of logistics, project management, transportation, and real estate.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis methodologies.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis, Operations, and Procurement.
  • Preferred experience includes 8-9 years in Financial Analysis, Project Management, and Business Development.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain seated at a desk and/or in front of a computer for extended periods.
  • Repetitive hand movements for typing and writing tasks.
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

Working Conditions

The work environment is typical of an office setting with low noise levels. Communication with team members and external partners will primarily occur through electronic means.
