Position Summary:

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our accounting practices and internal controls are robust and effectively implemented throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate tracking and record-keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies during invoice processing, including proper coding and allocation.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team through effective recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Evaluate and enhance accounting systems and processes for improved efficiency.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Monitor accounts aging and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in external audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare annual contractor 1099 forms and manage vendor payment processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, along with relevant management experience.
  • A minimum of five years of corporate accounting experience, with a focus on management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Dynamics.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience in M&A is advantageous.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily office-based, requiring the ability to operate standard office equipment and engage in typical office activities.
