Job Summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a skilled Healthcare Assistant I Onsite to provide clinical and administrative support in our Internal Medicine and Medical Specialties clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare examination rooms and maintain patient flow
  • Perform EKGs and waived testing, and provide patient instruction regarding preparation of tests/procedures
  • Prepare medical records and maintain confidentiality
  • Assist clinicians during examinations and minor procedures
  • Assist patients on the phone and in person, check patients in, and collect copays
  • Schedule appointments, perform transcription, and other general office responsibilities

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of Medical or Nursing Assistant program
  • Patient service experience
  • Certification as Medical Assistant, CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with an electronic medical record
