Job Summary
TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a skilled Healthcare Assistant I Onsite to provide clinical and administrative support in our Internal Medicine and Medical Specialties clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain patient flow
- Perform EKGs and waived testing, and provide patient instruction regarding preparation of tests/procedures
- Prepare medical records and maintain confidentiality
- Assist clinicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Assist patients on the phone and in person, check patients in, and collect copays
- Schedule appointments, perform transcription, and other general office responsibilities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of Medical or Nursing Assistant program
- Patient service experience
- Certification as Medical Assistant, CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with an electronic medical record
