Assistant Branch Manager I

Eastern Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager I to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in leading and developing the team to achieve results.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the daily management of a banking office, including overdraft management, vault management, and branch schedules.
- Responsible for achievement of personal sales goals and guiding the sales activities of the platform staff toward achievement of branch goals.
- Engage in sales and service coaching sessions with sales staff to ensure superior customer service levels.
- Manage customer service levels within the branch, adhering to established guidelines.
- Act as the manager on duty when the Branch Manager is away from the office.
- Strong problem resolution skills and basic business acumen.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Ability to build relationships and strong alliances across the organization.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years retail banking experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience required; experience in retail banking environment strongly preferred.
The incumbent must be able to transport items weighing 15 pounds or more.
