Job Title: Mobile Healthcare Paramedic

Job Summary:

The Mobile Healthcare Paramedic will be responsible for providing advanced life support and medical evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of critically ill and injured patients. This role will also involve facilitating continuity of care by interacting with patients' physicians and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary care and/or advanced life support, including medical evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of critically ill and injured patients.
  • Facilitate continuity of care by interacting with patients' physicians and healthcare facilities.
  • Respond to patients' needs by performing home visits, assessments, and treatments in accordance with MIH protocols and procedures.
  • Function in both traditional and non-traditional settings, providing ALS care activities and non-emergency care with a long-term focus.
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Assist in the development of processes and education materials pertaining to Mobile Integrated Healthcare.
  • Function as a facilitator and educator for clinical programs, including continuing education for field crews and new hires.
  • Drive performance management, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care and customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in emergency medical services, healthcare, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a field paramedic.
  • EMT I/C or equivalent instructor experience.
  • Instructor certification in ACLS, PALS, or related pediatric course, AMLS, CPR.
  • MA EMT-P Certification.
  • ACLS Certification.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Valid driver's license with no driving violations.
  • Driving record in compliance with department policy.
