The Administrative Assistant II in the Cardiology Department is responsible for executing secretarial and routine administrative tasks. This position emphasizes the prioritization of assignments and the organization of functions to ensure efficient office operations. Additionally, this role may oversee and guide clerical personnel while performing related duties as necessary, which includes but is not limited to: managing patient phone inquiries, addressing and responding to patient communications, securing authorizations, confirming patient appointments, scheduling patient visits, and facilitating patient check-ins and check-outs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate office operations within the department, including organizing clerical activities and establishing task priorities to ensure smooth office functionality.

· Maintain, organize, and update files, policy and procedure manuals, and records to guarantee that departmental information is accurate, accessible, and current.

This position requires flexibility in location as it may involve travel to various outreach sites as needed.

Working Hours: Standard hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (subject to change based on operational needs), with potential evening and weekend shifts.

Required Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Proficiency in Albanian is essential.

· A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience is required.

· Familiarity with PC-based automated word processing systems.

· Understanding of medical or similarly complex terminology.
