The Administrative Assistant II in the Cardiology Division is responsible for performing a variety of secretarial and administrative tasks. This position emphasizes the prioritization of assignments and the organization of activities to ensure smooth office operations. Additionally, this role may oversee and guide clerical personnel while executing related duties, which include but are not limited to: managing patient communications, processing patient inquiries, securing authorizations, confirming and scheduling patient appointments, and facilitating patient check-in and check-out procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

· Organize and coordinate office functions within the department, including managing clerical tasks and establishing task priorities to promote efficient operations.

· Maintain, organize, and update departmental files, policy manuals, and records to ensure that information is accurate, accessible, and current.

This position is primarily based in the Cardiology Division.

Please note: In cases of emergencies, vacations, or staffing shortages, this role may require travel to various outreach locations as necessary.

Working Hours: Standard hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential variations based on operational needs, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED is required.

· Fluency in Albanian is essential.

· A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience is required.

· Proficiency in PC-based automated word processing systems is necessary.

· Familiarity with medical terminology or similarly complex language is preferred.

Department: Cardiology Employment Status: Regular Full-Time Shift: Day Scheduled Hours: Varies Salary Range: $30.64 per hour.
