Overview

Trilon Group is seeking a skilled Agriculture Project Engineer to contribute to ongoing and upcoming initiatives within our North Canton, Ohio office. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to develop a career in a growing niche sector with a well-established clientele. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading a project team in the design, permitting, and construction phases of agricultural projects, including on-farm anaerobic digesters, as well as projects related to dairy, swine, cattle, and poultry operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team in evolving and implementing the office and company growth strategy.
  • Oversee contract budgets effectively.
  • Collaborate with various engineering service teams within Trilon Group, including Surveying, Environmental, Geotechnical, Structural, Civil, Agricultural, Traffic, Transportation, and Construction.
  • Ensure timely management and delivery of work tasks and projects.
  • Provide assistance with On-Farm Renewable Natural Gas (R.N.G.) and On-Farm Anaerobic Digesters.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline is mandatory.
  • While not essential, an Ohio Engineer Intern (EI) certification with the intention of obtaining an Ohio Professional Engineering license is advantageous.
  • Experience in design and construction is preferred; however, we are open to training candidates who demonstrate applicable skills and talents.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong technical writing abilities are essential for success in this role.
  • Candidates should possess proficient organizational and time management skills to excel in our dynamic environment.
  • Experience in managing multiple civil design engineers, projects, and disciplines is required.
  • A proven management process/style is necessary.
  • A willingness to mentor and guide junior staff is expected.
