Position Summary

In response to the ongoing expansion of our Geoenvironmental Division, we are seeking a Senior-Level Project Engineer/Manager. This role involves leading a team engaged in various solid waste management initiatives, encompassing engineering design, permitting, construction quality assurance/control, and operational support for both municipal and industrial solid waste facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a diverse range of project activities, including engineering design services, report preparation, permitting, and ensuring environmental compliance.
  • Formulate project scopes and budgets effectively.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams to guarantee efficient project operations.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of all necessary permits for landfill construction and operations.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding and management of project budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and the successful completion of planned operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in landfill and solid waste management engineering, particularly within Ohio, is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing projects, site development, permitting, design, and construction quality assurance/control, ideally serving as an Engineer-of-Record or Certifying Engineer.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate and coordinate with clients.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
  • Ohio Engineer Intern (EI) certification is required.
  • Possession of Ohio P.E. or a commitment to obtain a P.E. is essential.
