Job Overview

CV Engineering is in search of a seasoned Construction Site Supervisor to oversee safety measures for a significant construction initiative. This role involves ensuring the effective management of the project from inception to completion.

The Construction Site Supervisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the construction team throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include managing project execution and supervising the installation of foundational and structural elements, along with assisting in the procurement and assessment of construction bids. This position offers a valuable opportunity to enhance your expertise and contribute to the project's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project timelines and planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including owners and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment is available on-site.
  • Direct and supervise construction personnel and subcontractors, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with training and safety standards.
  • Guarantee that the construction process adheres to established timelines and that daily and weekly targets are achieved.
  • Supervise the installation of building foundations, underground utilities, and demolition operations.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor the engineering and construction schedule to facilitate successful project delivery.
  • Provide weekly updates on construction progress and submit reports on safety incidents.
  • Address any construction-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions to the project timeline.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field within a heavy industrial setting.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of personnel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project, as well as construction management software.
  • Basic familiarity with Navisworks.
  • A comprehensive understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and industry standards.
