Position Overview

EHS Technologies is seeking a proficient Technical Support Specialist to enhance our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering Help Desk assistance to users and ensuring the operational efficiency of Windows XP and Windows 7 systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing initial support for internally developed applications.
  • Designing, executing, and overseeing database software for user data management.
  • Evaluating and testing new software and system updates.
  • Advising the scientific and engineering teams on networking and security protocols.
  • Diagnosing and resolving user issues promptly.
  • Monitoring systems for potential challenges and ensuring system integrity.
  • Documenting usage and problem history through Help Desk software.
  • Setting up and configuring network devices.
Additionally, the selected candidate will handle NMCI support tasks:
  • Assisting with CLIN options, Move/Add/Changes, and NMCI guidelines.
  • Inputting data into standard systems and producing status reports.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of user information in NMCI requests.
  • Managing issue tracking and resolution processes.
  • Coordinating the delivery of NMCI services.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a minimum IAT Level II Certification (Microsoft desktop and CompTia Security + certifications).
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
Candidate must be a US citizen eligible for Security Clearance.
