About the Role

Avenue 360 Health and Wellness is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare delivery system, this role plays a vital part in ensuring seamless patient flow and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Welcome and Registration: Greet patients warmly and efficiently, explaining our services, payment categories, and billing procedures.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Accurately schedule appointments, direct walk-in patients, and manage emergencies according to established policies and procedures.
  • Chart Management: Ensure all charts are up-to-date, compliant with documentation requirements, and maintained in a secure and organized manner.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide professional and accurate communication to patients regarding clinic policies, delays, and other important information.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with scanning procedures, maintain office supplies, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school graduate/GED and one year of medical experience from a similar setting.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to work under pressure, treat patients with kindness and consideration, and communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in English/Spanish and a minimum typing speed of 35 wpm.
