About the Role
First Bank is seeking a highly skilled Branch Manager Assistant to join our team. As a Branch Manager Assistant, you will be responsible for performing routine and intermediate branch and customer services duties, including accepting deposits, processing loan payments, and cashing checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receives retail and commercial checking and savings deposits by determining that all necessary deposit documents are in proper form, and issuing receipts.
  • Cashes checks, savings withdrawals and processes cash advances; confirms all necessary documents are properly authorized, are in proper form and are within authorized limits; makes decisions when questionable items are presented for cashing or depositing.
  • Assists with night depository duties; logging bags, processing deposits, making change orders, issuing receipts and returning bags to customers.


The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant work experience in a financial institution. Intermediate knowledge of bank operations, products, and services is also required. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential, as well as exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
