The Customer Engagement Associate plays a vital role in delivering outstanding service to all individuals they interact with, including fellow team members, customers, and donors. This dynamic position involves a range of tasks, ensuring that each day is engaging and productive for our retail team. Responsibilities include assisting customers, managing transactions at the checkout, pricing and stocking merchandise, processing donations to achieve production targets for our sales floor or warehouse, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally, with an average weight of 20 lbs. for donation processing.
  • Capability to bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
  • Previous retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Successful completion of background screening (including sex offender registry).
  • Employer contributions to retirement plans of up to 6% after one year of service.
The Customer Engagement Associate position offers a starting wage of $14.47 per hour, with additional incentive pay based on store performance. The work schedule will include a rotation of afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with a requirement to work at least 3 weekends each month. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
