Position Overview

The Loan Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining records of loans and leases within the bank's computer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive servicing for various loan types, including Commercial, Equipment Finance, Mortgage, and Consumer loans.
  • Input and verify new and renewed loan documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Calculate interest and principal payments, as well as payoffs for loans.
  • Process loan payments, including participation remittances.
  • Monitor and analyze reports to validate information accuracy.
  • Reconcile multiple general ledger accounts.
  • Oversee the bank's lender-placed insurance.
  • Manage non-accrual and charge-off loans.
  • Handle incoming wire transfers.
  • Verify and resolve E-Oscar disputes.
  • Maintain and manage escrow accounts.
  • Process loans that have been paid in full and release associated collateral.
  • Check in new consumer and mortgage notes along with collateral.
  • Investigate and address customer inquiries regarding paid in full loans and collateral.
  • Conduct monthly reporting and remittance to various investors.
  • Support and promote the bank's sales culture and service principles.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of banking experience and education.
  • Preferred: Six to nine months of banking or related experience.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
